Description

You are bidding on the extremely rare and collectible 1st pressing of John Coltrane's classic BLUE TRAIN in STEREO (much rarer than MONO).  This version has the "47 W. 63rd St, New York" labels as seen in the pix.  The record has the RVG STEREO (Rudy Van Gelder) stamp on both sides of the dead wax, as well as the "ear" etching signifying a true Van Gelder mastering.  It also has a deep groove label on side 2 only.  
This record is play rated in VG++/Excellent Condition: No skips, some surface blemishes mainly due to taking in and out of sleeve, but nothing serious.  Still retains luster.  Some background noise.  A quality LP.
The cover is rated in VG+ Condition: No writing/initials, small stain on back from what appears to be a removed sticker (as seen in pic). Also a small sticker underneath said stain (also in pic).  Absolutely no seam splits.  Barely any peeling of the laminate cover, if any at all.  If not for the sticker and stain on the back, this would easily rate an EX/NM cover.  You will be very satisfied.
