Description

Limited Edition 4 x 12" Audiophile pressing of John Coltrane's "Blue Train" repressed by Classic Records (BST-81577-45) in 1997. Originally released in 1957 by Blue Note as a single LP which was a high water mark in the evolution of hard bop and is regarded as one of the most important recordings in jazz history.  These four platters are one-sided 45 RPM records pressed on 180 gram high-quality vinyl for ultimate sound reproduction mastered from the original tapes.

All labels are in EXCELLENT with some having light spindle scuffmarks around centerhole. All four vinyl records are in VG++ condition and were played a few times. They have very little visual signs of handling and play with some occasional noises...excellent fidelity! Disc 1 comes in cover with original artwork (EXCELLENT condition). Discs 2-4 come in plain white cardboard covers. All four vinyls have plastic-lined dust sleeves. NO RESERVE.
