Description

JOHN COLTRANE Blue Train Blue Note BSTF 81577 Uncatalogued variant 70s French pressing, with no TM by the blue note "b"symbol on the labels, which is present on the 1973 and 78 French pressings from the pics in Discogs. 80s French pressings start with the DMM ones. The tiny printing press logo is on the rear bottom right as with those 2 others. Could it be a short lived 20th anniversary pressing?. Conifer import sticker to the front was a clue to what I was about to find out from this, the sound is wonderful. Back then at the end of the 70s and in to the mid 80s, I would see Conifer import stickers on the LP's in Hi Fi shops. They wanted the best sounding pressings to shift gear with. The date also makes these guaranteed 100% analogue, and comes from a time when the master tapes were in great condition still. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type.  We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e no extra charge after the 1st lp!. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water.  This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
