Description

JOHN COLTRANE "Blue Train" LP - blue note 1577 ear w 63rd microgroove. Condition is Used. 
matrix side 1: (ear)  RVG    BN-LP-1577-A        (sideways 9 & M)
matrix side 2: (ear)  RVG    BN-LP- 1577-B...        (sideways 9 & M)
vinyl has some general wear throughout.  I play-tested the worst-looking areas, and the one area with the deepust scratch (near beginning of last song) sounded better than I expected from sight. here's my impression of how it sounded:
2nd half of last song, side 2: less surface noise than I expected. occasional light tick or crackle. 1st half of first song on side 2: a little more tick and crackle than the end of the last song. 1st half of first song on side 1: comparable to 1st half of first song on side 2, but more notable crackling/surface noise to quieter parts.
cover has some general wear, along with masking tape along spine, and the abrasion near John's mouth, the red "JM" written on back, etc.
4 or so inches of seam split at top edge.
general spindle marks on labels, either side. -- the same "JM" in black pen on side 2 label, a bit smaller than on rear cover. -- side 2 label also reads "47 WEST 63rd - NYC"
