Here we have a beautiful copy of John Coltrane's "Impressions" on Impulse! A-42, originally released in 1963, this is the re-release from 1968. It has the "VAN GELDER" stamp in the dead wax. Two of the tracks were recorded live at the Village Vanguard on Nov.5 1961, the other two I assumed were recorded at Englewood Cliffs in 1962 & 1963. Record is in NM condition, both sides are really nice. Beautiful laminated gate fold cover is in EX condition, due to small paper tear at inside center seam, no seam splits, all edges and corners crisp and clean without notable wear. Extra nice and crisp original inner sleeve.
