JOHN COLTRANE LIVE at the village vanguard Impulse original 1961 VG+
JOHN COLTRANE "LIVE" AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD
Impulse A-10 This 1961 release has a marathon John Coltrane tenor solo on "Chasin' The Trane," Eric Dolphy guesting on "Spiritual" and some beboppish soprano from 'Trane on "Softly As In A Morning Sunrise." The contributions of McCoy Tyner, Reggie Workman and Elvin Jones should not be overlooked either. RVG orange label.
Mint is only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.
NM Near Mint: No marks and will play clean with no noise unless inherent in the pressing.
EX Will generally have one or two minor flaws, have light surface marks and some background noise
VG+ Overall an Excellent copy with light surface marks, but with something that distracts, like a few small scratches that make a few pops
VG Consistent background noise, pops but should not skip or stick. Still a playable copy.
VG- has many problems. Noise will dominate. May have quite a few pops and possibly a few skips.
G The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
