Up for auction is an absolutely beautiful copy of the rare John Coltrane album "Soultrane" released on Prestige Records (PRLP 7032) in 1958. This is a guaranteed original mono, deep groove first pressing with RVG in the run out . Comes with the original rice paper inner sleeve. Correct matching Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ addresses on labels.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): The thick lusterous vinyl has no visible flaws. NM condition. Deep and warm sound.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (COVER): The thick cover is in VG+ to EX condition. Small writing on back. Bump on corners. Slightly cracked top and bottom edge. Spine is perfect. Original rice paper inner sleevein vg. Please see pics.
With grading being a subjective matter pictures are an objective way to evaluate for yourself.
All records visually graded. When in doubt, Play-graded on on a modified/restored Lenco L78 with Denon DL-103 (Very sensitive to clicks due to its round diamond). Sound will improve when played with a proper mono cartridge, I recommend Ortofon A or C.
