Description
RARE John Coltrane Settin' The Pace Original US Pressing Yellow & Black Label with Bergenfield NJ Address. Has RVG Stamp in dead wax and Deep Groove on both sides of the label.
Issued in 1958, this was the year Prestige changed the label from the 50th St. NYC to the Bergenfield NJ label so some records that year actually were printed with either of those labels. This is a first press of the Stereo issue of this record, to my knowledge.
Vinyl is VG+ and plays nice with very little surface noise, no loud pops, scratches. Some minor scuffs, though not audible, likely from being taken in and out of it's paper inner sleeve. Labels are super clean and the spindle holes are perfect without wear. Original inner sleeve included in addition to a new poly-lined sleeve.
Jacket/Cover is VG++ and in almost perfect condition. No stamps, writing or marks of any kind and is a very clean new looking cover with faint signs of age, shelf wear, normal for a 60 year old LP.
All vinyl records shipped and packed carefully with disc outside the jacket and inner sleeve and shipped inside a plastic record liner to protect the jacket and sleeve from damage. Bubble wrapped and corners protected.
