CULT AND ESSENTIAL MODERN JAZZ SESSION , recorded in NEW YORK in 1959 , this is one of the cultest lp by coltrane , and maybe just one of the cultest lp ever recorded in jazz ...every jazzmen or jazz mellowman should have this record , because of superb modern jazz direction , and colored tunes at his best ...plus jazz dreamteam playing with LEE MORGAN / CURTIS FULLER / KENNY DREW / PAUL CHAMBERS / PHILLY JOE JONES ....tracks are BLUE TRAIN / MOMENT's NOTICE / LOCOMOTION / I4M OLD FASHIONED / LAZY BIRD ....this is the first press on blue note catalogue number 1577 , deep groove with hevay lp , the adress on the label is 43 WEST 61 st ST new york 23 on both side of the label ....backing cover got the writing FOR COMPLETE CATALOG WRITE TO BLUE NOTE RECORDING 43 west 61st ST new york 23 ...
THE CONDITION OF THE COVER IS EX- only due to a small scratch on back top left of 0.33 cm , and a very small marks of time , almost nothing check pics , front cover is solid ex , THE CONDITION OF THE LP IS VG- because of very light water / humidity marks on the records , mostly seen when looks under a light , this is almost non visible without a light , but the listening quality is great just an ultra short surface noise on begins of side and on quiet moments try soundclip the listening is solid vg++ / ex- ..for additionnal question please contact me ...
