Description

RARE original 1964 pressing (second edition; black and silver label) of this acoustic guitar folk/blues/psych/drone landmark on JOHN FAHEY'S one Takoma label. Disc is a glossy VG/VG+. Cover has light shelf wear, tight seam splits along top and bottom edges repaired with clear tape, and small red paint streak (about 1") in upper left front corner. *NOTE: On Dec. 30, I received this message from a helpful eBayer: "According to Takoma's records and further illustrated in Claudio Guerrieri's Fahey Handbook this is actually the fifth issue of this record, released in May of 1966. The tracks are the same as would be found on the actual second issue." The cover does indeed state, however, "This is a limited pressing, second edition."
