John Fahey Vol. 1 Blind Joe Death Takoma C-1002 - 1967 Release
This is the relatively "rare" 1967 (psychedelic cover) re-release (re-recording) plus one new cut, of the "original" Takoma C 1002 Blind Joe Death LP. It's the first edition of the re-release noted by the rare "Newly Recorded In Magnificent Mono" sticker on the lower left of the cover art.
The LP is in overall good to excellent condition, I've given the cover and the Vinyl BOTH a VG++ grading, it plays extremely well, but with a few noticeable generally non-audible scuffs, etc.
My record grading system:
• New: Sealed
• M: Absolutely perfect in every way. Looks like it just came off the manufacturing line.
• NM: Looks as if it was opened for the first time.
• E±: Except for minor condition issues, this record would be NM.
• VG+: Shows slight signs of wear and scuffs or very light scratches that do not influence the listening experience.
• We do not typically sell records graded less than VG+.
This record comes from the private collection of Adelphi Records ® CEO Gene Rosenthal. It was never in a retail store bin, but came directly to our distributorship and then directly to my private collection, thus no "store bin wear." If played at all the record was generally only played once or twice with a very low weight tracking stylus/cartridge. Please view photos carefully at high magnification, we NEVER use stock photos, so what you see or don't see is exactly what you will receive. Enjoy - Gene R.

One final note: I ship LP's in high quality LP Mailers with quality filler pads made from 200-lb corrugated cardboard. These items are what we both want our LP's shipped in but the high quality materials add to the shipping costs. Your item will be professionally packed. The shipping calculator includes a handling charge to cover the cost of my packing materials. So if you feel that the shipping charges are too high please think twice before bidding, and if you win the auction please don't give me bad or neutral feedback because of high shipping costs.
