GREAT AND RARE LP BY UK LIBRARY MAESTRO JOHN GREGORY. THIS LP FIRST CAME TO LIGHT WHEN THE SOUND GALLERY COMPS WERE ISSUED AT THE HEIGHT OF THE EASY LISTENING CRAZE. UNLIKE MUCH OF THAT STUFF THE TWO MAIN TRACKS OFF THIS LP STILL SOUND FANTASTIC.
Issued by United Artists in 1974, this is one of the finest examples of library funk records ever committed to vinyl.The production features sweeping strings combined with tight funky rhythms. The famous tracks are "Jaguar" (relased through KPM also) and "Earthshaker", much featured by club DJs, however the whole of the LP is sublime and worthy of your attention. This album sold in very limited quantities and is now very hard to find and much sought. The cover features an elaborate cut out and the inner sleeve is a continuation of the cover art.
