Description
JOHN HANDY III – IN THE VERNACULAR – ROULETTE 52042 – M-/M- - MONO
This was John Handy’s first recording session of his own and recorded in New York in 1959. It features John Handy on alto and tenor, Richard Williams on trumpet, Sir Roland Hanna on piano, George Tucker on bass and Roy Haynes on drums. SIDE A: I’LL CLOSE MY EYES; FIRST TIME; SUGGESTED LINE and PROBLEM TOO. SIDE B: QUOTE, UNQUOTE; BLUES IN THE VERNACULAR; DANCE TO THE LADY and I’LL NEVER SMILE AGAIN. It comes in its original sleeve. This is MONO recording.
I have graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any signs of marks on either side. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. The vinyl retains its original shine. The record jacket is in near mint condition, with no real sign of wear. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $21.60 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
