Description
Label/Catalog No: Blue Note 101, released in 1946. This was Blue Note's first multiple record album. Records grade in the V- to G+ range. (VJM scale) (visual grade, I have not played them). I have included 2 pictures of cover, correct shade is somewhere between these 2 pictures. (pale green). Sleeves have bottom seam splits (moderate). RARE
V- (78) . Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+ (78). Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
