Description
Up for auction is a copy of Killigrew by John KIlligrew, released in 1971 on Penny Farthing, cat no 22.639, a Spanish pressing. Highly obscure, yet absolutely wonderful, piano-based singer-songwriter, a bit Paul McCartney, a bit Gilbert O’Sullivan, a bit Robin Gibb. Produced & arranged by Pete Dello of Honeybus, and (though uncredited) I understand other members of the band are the backing musicians, along with Billy Bremner, later of Rockpile.
Condition: a minor mark or two, nothing to seriously affect play. Sounds wonderful still. Labels have spindle trails but are otherwise fine. Cover has some ring wear on the rear but is otherwise fine. EX/VG+ (vinyl/cover).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
