Description

For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of the 'THE REAL FOLK BLUES' album from 1987 by JOHN LEE HOOKER on the CHESS RECORDS label (CH-9271).  It is a UK first pressing and looks like it has hardly been played so would be a superb addition to any record collection.  The sleeve is in excellent condition with hardly any marks or wear at all. However, there is an old price sticker still attached as you can see in the photos.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with virtually no 'spindle trails' indicating that the record has hardly been played.  The record looks in really excellent condition with hardly any marks on it.  However, I have not had time to play it so I cannot comment on the sound quality.  But from a purely visual impression I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album.  The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
