Info: Very rare original mono UK pressing LP featuring the "pure" Hooker - unadorned by R & B backing or vocal choirs. This is Hooker himself singing the country blues!

This is a very hard to locate 1st press with 1L1/2L1 matrix numbers and textured silver and blue Riverside labels with 'Recording First Published 1958' label text.

Comes in original front laminated and rear paste-on picture sleeve and has plain white paper inner sleeve.

Vinyl in very good condition with mild surface wear and a couple of very small mild scratches, but actually plays fine with just occasional background crackles and a slight click here and there.
Labels look clean with an average amount of spindle marks.
Sleeve in very good+ condition with mild general wear and some slight discolouring on rear. No writing or stickers anywhere.
Inner sleeve in excellent condition.
