A chance for collectors to buy a rare original 1966 Northern Soul / Rock crossover
John Lee's Groundhogs "I'll Never fall In Love Again"
c/w "Over You Baby"
on the Planet label
This record was a collaboration of blues singer John Lee Hooker and The Groundhogs and issued by Phillips on the short lived Planet label.
The label only issued 22 releases, all in 1966 and any single is extremely collectible especially with an original sleeve.
The vinyl is in excellent condition and both side play perfectly.
The sleeve is also in superb condition with no rips marks or tears - just a very slight impression of the disc underneath.
The surface of the A side is perfect and there is a minor finger scuff mark on the B side which I have tried to photograph.
I have not attempted to clean this off but it may remove with care.
The label is also perfect but has a small letter W written in black pen on the A side which is hard to see but is just visible in the photo.
This single was recently bought by me as part of a large soul collection for DJ'ing but it is in such superb condition it is far too good
to risk damage by playing at soul nights.
