Anyway, their loss is your gain as it means you get another shot at this great album! Just look at the stampers on this record! You will never find an earlier pressing of this incredible album. You are bidding on a truly exceptional copy of John Lennon's seminal 'Mind Games' LP. Although not a hard album to come across as a later pressing, what makes this record so rare is that it is the Mega Rare Original Thick & Chunky UK 1U//1U 1st pressing straight from the master!!! Not only that, but this would have been amongst the first batch ever made, with astonishing 2PO & 2PC Stampers (I have never seen another 1st pressing this early)! That's right, it is the earliest possible UK 1st pressing of this amazing albums with he mega rare 1U//1U Matrix ending and super thick and heavy vinyl. A very rare record to find as as true 1st pressing!!! What's more it comes complete with its original lyric inner sleeve and is in exceptional condition throughout!!!! There are not many UK 1st pressings of this record left today, let alone in this kind of condition and this early. A very special record! indeed!!

The 1st press Apple Records labels are in stunning MINT- condition! They have NO Tears, NO Peeling/Lifting, NO Scribbles, NO unwanted writing of any kind and only the very faintest trace of a spindle line on each side!!! It is clear that this record has been barely played at all! The gramophone rims containing the all important matrix's are also mint! 

The record is in superb condition and still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!!  For a UK 1st Pressing as early as this to look & play this well is very rare!!! The thick quality pressed chunky vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!) This record has NO Scratches, NO groove-wear, No warping and is completely blemish free save for the occasional light waxy and almost invisible paper/surface lines. These can only be seen when holding the record angled up toward a window!!!  This record easily grades as Excellent even by my own strict grading standards (most would grade much higher). I really cannot stress how STUNNING this record looks and feels - it is one of the best copies I have ever come across of a true 1st press (most were played to death in the 1970's and only turn up now full of scratches and gouges!), and it has absolutely NO GROOVE-WEAR!!!! The vinyl really shines like it was made yesterday new looks and feels great!!!

The Earliest 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse is in stunning 'Near Mint' condition! The sleeve can be distinguished from all later pressings by the pinched spine ends. All later issues had a straight spine from end to end, with no pleating. It also has a true matt feel to it, and not the fake laminated shiny finish many later issued have. What's more it is in astounding Near Mint condition! I have never ever seen another quite as good as this! It has NO faults at all! Just nice mint sharp corners, a nice stiff feel, Mint legible spine text and a beautiful unblemished matt surface sheen! An amazing copy, you really will not find a better example! Easily grades as Near Mint!

The 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse matt lyric printed inner is also great, nice and crisp white with no discolouration! There are no unwanted scribbles or stains etc. and both corners have the correct die-cut 1st issue finish!  There is a small patch of seam wear to the bottom seam, but both side seams are very strong. A beautiful example!

Do not underestimate the rarity of this record in this kind of condition and as the earliest UK 1st pressing - only a handful were made with these stampers and the 1U/ 1U matrix endings! Of those that remain I would seriously doubt that any are left in this condition!  If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential UK 1st pressing to own in this complete and beautiful condition!!! Don't miss this one! The disc will come to you housed in a replacement poly-lined inner sleeve to protect the original one during transit. The original inner will be safely tucked away inside the jacket like an insert.

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
