John Lennon - 'Live Peace In Toronto'. CORE 2001
John Lennon 1969 UK 1st Apple FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Live Peace In Toronto' LP. Released on the 12th December 1969, and offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT+ condition. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
This is one of John's rarer albums to obtain as it failed to make the charts here in the UK. Unlike his three previous experimental albums this is a much more commercial album which makes it even more surprising as to why it failed to chart. Recorded at the Toronto 'Rock 'n' Roll Revival Concert' on the 12th September 1969 it contains a collection of classic, current and experimental tracks.
Released on the 'Apple Records' label this 1969 1st UK pressing is on the dark Apple label. It comes housed within the original and correct fully laminated sleeve and 'Apple Records' inner sleeve. This copy also has some very early stamper codes - 1 R and 1 A respectively.

Side 1: CORE 2001 A-1U 1 R
Side 2: CORE 2001 B-1U 1 A
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition. STUNNING.
The vinyl has been play tested with NO faults just light crackle in places.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Seam split to one edge and some light staining.
