Description

John Lennon - 'Mind Games / Meat City'. R 5994.

John Lennon 1973 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'Mind Games / Meat City' 7" single. Released on the 16th November 1973, and offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT condition.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE' and the release date of '9.11.73' (which is different to my reference book). The vinyl is housed within the original matt Apple Records sleeve again in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21736-2U 1 G S-45-X-48158-Z10 TR

Side 2. 7YCE 21737-2U 1 G S-45-X-48169-Z10

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. Both sides play through with NO problems just some very light crackle.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition. Radio station stamp on b-side.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. A wonderful example of this original sleeve.

This will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK Recorded postage is: £2.50. EU Recorded Postage is: £7.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £10.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.

VINYL VISUALLY GRADED BASED ON UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH A + OR -.
