John Lennon - ’9 Dream / What You Got’. R 6003

John Lennon 1975 UK DEMO pressing of the ’9 Dream / What You Got’ 7” single. Released on the 24th January 1974, this rare demo issue is in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT/MINT- condition. It comes complete with rare WHITE APPLE SLEEVE and a rare ‘A IS FOR APPLE’ unused promotional Apple Records sticker.

Both sides of the vinyl state ‘DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE’ and the release date of 24.1.75. The vinyl has the very earliest 1 G stampers on both sides making this one of the very first 300 produced. The vinyl is housed within a very rare WHITE Apple Records sleeve. I have only ever seen one other of these. A magnificent and rare example.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: 7YCE 21758-1U 1 G

Side 2: 7YCE 21759-1U 1 G

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition on the a-side and MINT- condition on the b-side.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
