John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band - 'Give Peace A Chance / Remember Love'. APPLE 13

John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band 1969 UK 1st Apple FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Give Peace A Chance / Remember Love' 7" single. Released on the 4th July 1969, this early issue features the 'Sold in UK....' text which is omitted from the vast majority of discs pressed. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT+ condition complete with a rare 'A is for Apple Records' promotional sticker.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. Released on the dark Apple label both sides feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text. The vinyl is housed within the original Apple Records sleeve. A brief search on eBay will show just how scarce the 'Sold in UK....' variations are. Also included is an unpeeled, unstuck 'A is for Apple Records' promotional sticker.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. APPLE 13 A-1 3 T KT

Side 2. APPLE 13 B-1 1 P KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in GOOD condition.
