Historical and Collector Notes

• This 45 was not initially a hit in the UK, despite its message and production by Phil Spector. Over time, however, it has become a perennial Christmas classic.

• The translucent green vinyl variant is considered more collectible than the standard black vinyl editions, especially in clean condition.

• The B-side, “Listen, the Snow Is Falling” is a notable Yoko Ono composition that has gained appreciation among avant-garde collectors.

• The picture sleeve with the Harlem Community Choir is iconic and adds significant value when preserved in decent shape.
