DESCRIPTION
John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band (with The Flux Fiddlers) - “Imagine” Apple Records SW-3379 (Stereo) from 1971. Hard to find Original U.S. First Pressing Vinyl Classic Psychedelic / Rock Album from ex-Beatles John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band featuring Klaus Voormann, Alan White, George Harrison, Nicky Hopkins, Jim Keltner, Jim Gordon, King Curtis, Joey Molland, Tom Evans, Yoko Ono and more. No mention of who the players are but some great New Orleans gumbo Rock. On the Custom Picture Apple Labels in the Original Laminated Cover with NO Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode. Includes the Picture / Lyrics / Notes Inner Sleeve and the Original 22” x 33” Poster but… no cards. I believe this is the First Los Angeles Pressing as indicated by the Runout / Matrix numbers:

CONDITION
The Laminated Sleeve is in good shape. There is some slight basic shelf wear and corner softening. There is some loosening of the laminate around the edges and also some yellowing. There is an old price tag on back - should be easily removable. Still solid with no cutouts, writing, splits, tears, etc. and should still rate VG. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition. There are some light scuffs and hairlines. Plays mostly EX to Near Mint all through with just a couple random spots of light groove noise and soft tics - very minor, nothing that distracts. Visually probably only VG but plays WAY better so I think VG+ is a fair grade and may be improved with a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. The labels are Near Mint. The inner sleeve has some yellowing and slight wrinkling. The poster is EX to NM.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
