This is the UK 1st Press of 'John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band.' This press has the earliest A-1U/B-1U matrix, extremely early 2/1 mothers and the printed inner sleeve and fully laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good++ condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational deep gloss, with a number of light wispy marks. On playing the sound is wonderful, extremely warm and clear. The Apple labels are completely clean. The black is bold, the white is very bright, the black text is sharp and there is no spindle wear just a few spider marks. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve. The printed inner has a small split on the top edge but is otherwise extremely clean and bright.
The fully laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a superb mirrorlike shine and it is completely clean. The green is bold and the picture is very sharp. There is very light wear to the opening edge. The whole sleeve still feels exceptionally flat and solid.
