-------------------------------------------------------- JOHN LENNON  "Roots" aka "Sings The Great Rock & Roll Hits" Original US Pressing Adam VIII A8018 -------------------------------------------------  The notorious Lennon LP that was recalled due to a lawsuit. The sleeve is construted of white posterboard and photos are provided for authenticity. Oddly, this copy is in shrink.   This record Includes:  1. "Bell Sound" stamper as well as "8018" and "Joe" written by hand on the run off. 2. Posterboard constructed cover. 3. No saw marks or cut outs. 4. The spine clearly reads " John Lennon Sings The Great Rock & Roll Hits" as opposed to "Greatest" that's on most bootlegs.   Record: VG++/NM, light sleeve marks Sleeve: VG+, a fair amount of corner wear and creasing along the bottom corners. Creasing long the spine. Labels: Light spindle wear, no marks or writing.  ---------------------------------------------------------
