Shipping within the US is set at $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box.

This item is a very rare Apple Records audiophile 180g EU-import vinyl LP pressing of the 1974 album by John Lennon, Walls and Bridges, in its original and unique fold-out LP cover, on Apple Records.  Not long after the release of his Mind Games album in 1973, Yoko Ono and Lennon separated, with Ono remaining in New York and Lennon spending his “Lost Weekend” – which lasted eighteen months – in Los Angeles with May Pang.  He spent that time partying and carousing, causing and getting into trouble, and recording this album and Pussy Cats with drinking buddy Harry Nillson.  At the time, the critics didn’t really know what to make of this record – it was not political, it was not terribly commercial except for the number one single with the then-white hot Elton John, Whatever Gets You Through The Night, it had no Yoko songs on it – and its reception was lukewarm.  However, as a long-time Beatle fan and collector, I must choose this album – even over the Plastic Ono Band album – as the best Lennon solo release.  The songs are at once defiant yet vulnerable, tough and tender, full of bravado yet full of fear and self-loathing.  When the history is mixed in and the record viewed in context, it really stands head and shoulders above his others.  It comes with the original album cover configuration, one of the best ever released, a three-segment foldover of drawings done by Lennon as a child.  As a result, by turning different panels over the cover and/or across the back cover, there are four different covers and four different backs (see the photos).  After the initial pressings of the album, it was eventually replaced by a traditional printed album sleeve.  This pressing of the LP features all of the original goodies – the fold-over cover, inner sheet with promo photo and lyrics booklet.  It comes in the thick poly sleeve as shown.  It is not sealed but is brand spanking new and never played.  You simply will not find a nicer pressing of this album.

This pressing is in new and mint condition, as shown in the photo.

NOTE:  Sealed albums are collectible because they are sealed.  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Once an album is opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little, to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.  Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone.  Send me a note at the conclusion of the auction, and I will send an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs).  Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again send me a note requesting that insurance be included in the invoice

PLEASE NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, please let me know and I will send an invoice including the cost for delivery confirmation, which is currently $0.80.
