This is the 1974 Demo/Promo for the John Lennon/Elton John A side from Walls and Bridges... Whatever Gets You Through The Night / An interview with Bob Mercer.
This is an exceptionally rare piece in that it was a record company issue designed to motivate staff to sell the single/album. The result of which was Lennons last public performance with Elton John at Madison Square Gardens. As the story goes Elton wagered Lennon that if it got to number 1 he had to play it live with him. That was the last time Lennon would play to a public audience.
