This is the scarce UK 1st Press of 'Walls And Bridges' by John Lennon. This complete press has the original YEX 937-Z5, stamped, SW1-3416-Z-5 etched and crossed out & YEX 938-Z6, stamped and SW2-3416-Z-6 etched and crossed out matrix, the original die-cut inner sleeve, the original booklet and the original opening sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. It has a stunning bright shine, with just a few very light marks on each side. On playing the there is a little background noise, mainly in the first few seconds of both sides, it then clears to crisp, bold sound. The labels are bright and the text is sharp.
The record has the original printed inner sleeve, which is bright but has a split on the bottom edge. The original insert has writing on the front but it is completely intact.
The overlapping sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colours and the image are bold. There is a little edge wear and a couple of small scuffs. The whole cover still feels solid and the fold-outs are intact.
