Shipping within the US is set at $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box.

This item is a very rare and very cool collectible – an original Apple Records pressing of the Two Virgins vinyl LP, released in 1968.  You probably all know the story of how John and Yoko met, at a show of Yoko’s work with the ladder to the spyglass showing “yes”, the “Breathe” card and so on.  When they eventually got together, in the Biblical sense, it was during a period of time when Cynthia was on holiday in Greece.  I happen to be re-reading Peter Brown’s The Love You Make right now, and the story of how Cynthia learned – also recounted in the recent Lennon – A Life book as well – paints a disturbing picture of John.  In any event, this record was scandalous at the time on so many levels.  Most of all, of course, was the nude cover art.  I think this was an example of taking artistic sensibility way, way too far.  The “music”, or whatever one would choose to call the sonic smorgasbord that is on the record, is quite bizarre.  But, it really is an essential to any Beatles / Lennon collection.  This is an original pressing, as evidenced by the opening of the bag at the side instead of the top, and the presence of the white sticker that was used to prevent gawkers in stores.  This album actually was, technically, released on the Tetragrammaton label, if only because record company executives would not allow its pressing and release on Apple.

The vinyl is in near-mint condition.  The cover and the outer bag are in excellent condition, as shown in the photo.

NOTE:  Whenever the listed album is a sealed album, it is collectible and has a substantial part of its value because it is sealed.  I cannot assess the record inside for that reason, and so the purchase of every sealed album is "as-is".  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Therefore, once an album is opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.  

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  In addition, the USPS has recently increased their rates yet again.  If you need the cost of postage for any item, please send me a message through My eBay, or go to the Postal Service's website.  Multi-album LP sets weigh more and, consequently cost more.  I will always combine postage, since combining multiple albums saves money.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little, to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.  Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone.  Send me a note at the conclusion of the auction, and I will send an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs).  Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again send me a note requesting that insurance be included in the invoice

PLEASE NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, please let me know and I will send an invoice including the cost for delivery confirmation, which is currently $0.80.
