JOHN LENNON / YOKO ONO - TWO VIRGINS - *RARE*

Never one to avoid controversy, Lennon's "Two Virgins" album seemed to cover every base for him.
The result of a night of music experimentation between John and new love, Yoko Ono, the music
session supposedly ended with the consummation of their relationship.

The couple later shot the controversial cover using a time delayed camera and the nude photographs
elicited the expected uproar. Albums were confiscated as obscene and hence the brown paper cover
came into being. Lennon later said that the uproar was less about the explicit nudity and more to the
fact that the pair was "rather unattractive."

This album is the 1984 US release version distributed by Tetragrammaton. I've owned it since then.
We are planning an overseas move next month and downsizing is the word around here. Many old
treasures are being let go. It is sort of a catharsis.
