Original UK stereo LP, release date 1968 on the Black Circle Logo Island label, catalogue number: ILPS9091 Matrix nos: side1) ILPS+9091+A side 2) ILPS+9091+B Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is laminated. There are two minor imperfections: there is a very faint ring mark on the front cover, but it is only noticeable when inclined towards bright light (not a serious wear mark, with the exception of a one-inch paper-thin wear line at the bottom centre - see photo); on the rear cover there is a small white wear mark just under ISLAND RECORDS near the bottom edge, which measures approx ¼-inch by ¼-inch. Apart from that the cover is perfect – no creases, tears, no wear to the edges, no splaying of the open edge, no writing or stickers. NOTE: the cover photo shows white marks at the top - these are not on the cover, but are light reflections which I was unable to eliminate - the cover itself is as stated, nearly perfect. The spine is in perfect condition as is the print on it. The inner sleeve is the white paper original. The two labels seem to be free from spindle wear marks, but it is very difficult to judge, as the label surface is rough textured. The record plays VIRTUALLY FAULTLESSLY – no loud annoying clicks or pops, only very few very faint crackles were heard. NOTE: band members were- Harold McNair (flute); Paul Wheeler (2nd guitar); Dave Moses (bass). This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection. Track list: sing a song of summer, the river, goin down to Memphis, the gardeners, a day at the sea, fishin blues/ dusty, hello train, winding boy, fly on home, knuckledy crunch and slippledee slee song, seven black roses.
