THIS IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1966 RELEASE OF THE JOHN MAYALL LP “JOHN MAYALL WITH ERIC CLAPTON” ISSUED IN THE UK ON THE MONO RED DECCA LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING. THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION. THE SLEEVE IS IN VIRTUALLY MINT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is LK 4804 on the UK RED DECCA label and is in Mono. Matrix numbers are ARL 7297-1A and ARL 7298-1A.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear and NO writing. There are NO spindle marks on side A. There is one VERY VERY LIGHT spindle mark on side B. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated cover is in NEAR MINT condition! It has NO wear to spine. There is SLIGHT CREASING to the top right corner of the front cover. There is an almost invisible 2.5cm vertical thumb crease just right of Hughie Flint’s hand. There is NO rubbing to the front cover and NO ringwear. There is ONLY MINOR edgewear to the open edges. The front cover FULLY retains its initial glossy look (see picture).
The only blemish to the back cover is VERY MINOR edgewear to the open edges.
Overall the cover is firm and strong and looks BRAND NEW.
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
