Eric Clapton is usually thought of as John Mayall's most vital right-hand man, but Peter Green is equally, if not more historically important.
The future Fleetwood Mac founder leaves a strong stamp on his only album with The Bluesbreakers, singing a few tracks and writing a couple, including the absolutely stunning instrumental "Supernatural". Green's use of thick sustain on this track pointed the way to his use of this feature on Fleetwood Mac's hits "Albatross" and "Black Magic Woman," as well as providing a blueprint for Carlos Santana's style.
Highlights include the uncharacteristically rambunctious "Leaping Christine" and the cover of Freddie King's "Someday After a While (You'll Be Sorry)"

Outstanding audio reproduction throughout with a loud, crisp, clean *MONO* cut and my play-check at volume found nothing to fault bar a touch of surface between some of the tracks - nothing really - a superb copy - the finest I have seen in a long while
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Apart from some age-toning to the untreated white back/edges the sleeve is in great shape with a deep glossy sheen to the front laminate and little wear to the edges or (pinched) spine, where all text is clear and bold

Clean and unmarked, barely seen the light of day - no seam splits
