** A rare and very nice example of a classic JOHN MAYALL UK DECCA vinyl LP.  **

An Excellent condition disc. Very few visible surface marks, except for a couple of very, very small pressing imperfection marks on Side 2 - one of which (toward the end of Side 2 Track 2), causes a three light clicks. The other of which is in the dead wax run-out groove area and causes no effect. Otherwise, only a few very fine hairline marks, which can only be seen under a very strong light, where the record has been taken out of the sleeve over the years, and which cause no audible effect at all. Lustrous, shiny vinyl. Hardly any spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking, scuffs, scratches, warps, or writing on labels. Very clean labels. Superb sound quality throughout - clear sound, with hardly any surface noise at all, apart from the three clicks mentioned previously. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve, with laminated front, and Mono/Stereo "peep-hole" indicator to rear, is in crisp Excellent condition, "printed in England by Robert Stace". No significant wear at all. No seam splits anywhere. No writing anywhere. No creasing anywhere. No wear to spine, with all text still clearly legible. Beautiful shiny lamination to front. 

Supplied in original company inner sleeve, with polythene insert, which is in Excellent condition. No writing anywhere. No creasing. No seam splits. Some very minor age-related discolouration in places.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
