This is the exceptionally rare genuine 1st press of 'Blues Breakers.' John Mayall and Eric Clapton's seminal British blues album also includes a young John McVie who went on to Fleetwood Mac fame, Hughie Flint on drums and was engineered by Gus Dudgeon who later famously went on to produce Elton John. This 1st press includes the very earliest and rarest 1A/1A matrix, the original red Mono Decca label and the MacNeill press laminated sleeve.

The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a bright gloss, with a few very light marks on each side and one mark on the last track of Side 1. On playing the sound is rich and vibrant, there is some light background noise, but it is still bold and clear. The Unboxed Decca label is a deep red colour, it is completely clean and the silver is very bright. The text is sharp and there is just the very slightest spindle wear and a light mark on Side 1.

The laminated MacNeill press sleeve is in Very Good condition. The colour is bold, the white is bright and the laminate has a mirrorlike shine. There is a little corner wear. On the back the text and images are sharp. There is a little ring wear and discolouration and the track times have been written next to each track. The lightweight card is still solid and the pinched spine is firm with clear text.
