Description
This Looking Back album (SKL5010) by John Mayall has unboxed blue Decca logo labels and is an early stereo pressing on 150gm vinyl. The matrix numbers are ZAL-8987P-2W and ZAL-8988P-2W (with JT tax code on both run-offs).
The disc itself still has a high gloss. It has no surface marks other than a few paper scuffs. There is some light spindle marking on the labels and no hole wear. I would grade the vinyl as excellent. (Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality.)
The original Decca blue and white poly inner sleeve is in very good condition.
The original laminated Clout and Baker gatefold outer sleeve is in excellent condition apart from one "fold" mark across the bottom left front corner where the front has been creased at some point. The spine is in excellent condition.
I bought the album from new and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. It had minimal playings when bought and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.
Sound quality is excellent for its age.
