I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Extremely Rare Mono 1st Press with 1A/1A Matris Endings!
PHENOMENAL CONDITION!
This listing is for a very rare and highly collectible copy of the John Mayall LP 'Blue Breakers' featuring Eric Clapton. This LP is also known as the 'Beano album' due to Eric reading said comic in the album cover photograph. This is the original UK Decca mono 1st press with deep-grooved labels and unboxed Decca logo
Considered as one of the most influential rock blues albums of all time (and starting the now legendary combination of a Gibson Les Paul guitar running through an overdriven Marshall amplifier), this collaboration between Mayall and Clapton was ranked 195 on Rolling Stone's '500 greatest albums of all time'.
It's hard enough finding an original mono 1st press copy of this album. However, this copy is in a truly beautiful, beautiful condition! Check out the photos and the description below. For an album that's 52 years old this is in phenomenal condition!

Title John Mayall - Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton Year of Release 1966 Catalogue Number LK 4804 Label Red Decca with grooved label and unboxed logo Tax Code on Disc KT Sleeve Manufacturer MacNeill Press Ltd Side 1 Matrix Number ARL-7297-1A Side 2 Matrix Number ARL-7298-1A Side 1 Stampers 3 1 / GM (Also has S1.1 A machine-stamped in the deadwax) Side 2 Stampers 1 / BH Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in EX- condition. Overall the sleeve is looking really clean but sadly a previous owner used cellotape on the mouth edge on the front and back (most likely to prevent fraying). The result is that the mouth opening is still sharp and unworn but there is some tape scarring as you can see in the photos below. Other than that the cover is in a remarkable, solid condition! The date 5.8.67 has been written in pen on the back at the bottom right. Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeve is in EX condition. Overall the inner sleeve is looking really nice with just some light browning. There are no splits or tears and the plastic lining is still stuck tightly. Beautiful condition! Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in NM condition. The disc looks like it's pretty much never been played! The playing surface has a beautiful crisp, clean shine to it and looks near flawless! A few very faint, barely visible little scuffs just nudge overall grade down but there's no detracting from the fact that the disc looks like it's just been played a couple of times and then stored away for the next 50 years. Wow! Label Condition The labels are in NM+ condition. Near-flawless labels with just a tiny bit of barely visible, spidery spindlewear. Phenomenal labels!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.
