THE JOE HARRIOTT DOUBLE QUINTET INDO-JAZZ SUITE
Issue : UK 1st PRESS        Label : COLUMBIA         Catalogue No : SCX 6025
Matrix : YAX 3094-2U / 3095-1U

This UK 1st press is on the Black and Blue Columbia label. It is complete with the earliest YAX 3094-2U / 3095-1U matrix and the laminated 'Patents pending’ Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. 
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is one light needle mark at the start of Side One, otherwise the vinyl is superb. The blue and black Columbia label is also sensational. The black is bold, the silver text is sharp and the whole label is wonderful condition. There is NO spindle wear at all, just a couple of the faintest spider marks. When played the sound is sensational - bold and vibrant throughout. 

The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate is glossy and completely flat, there are no creases or wear to the laminate at all. The colours are sensational and the text is sharp. There is light wear to the opening edge. The back of the sleeve is also superb, extremely clean and bright. There is slight discolouration to the flipbacks but this is light, the white is exceptionally bright.  The whole sleeve is extremely solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text.
