Description

This lot contains eight 10-inch single-sided 78 RPM records, all on the Victrola Red Seal "batwing" label, and all by John McCormack. The last one has a textured back (last picture), and the others are all blank on the back. The last one, therefore, gets two pictures, and the others get only one picture each. In the order shown in the pictures, they are:

Victrola No. 64860 -- "Your Eyes Have Told Me So"

Victrola No. 64732 -- "The Rainbow of Love"

Victrola No. 64825 -- "Roses of Picardy"

Victrola No. 64260 -- "Silver Threads Among the Gold"

Victrola No. 64741 -- "Send Me Away with a Smile"

Victrola No. 64814 -- "When You Look in the Heart of a Rose"

Victrola No. 64900 -- "Thank God for a Garden"

Victrola No. 66109 -- "Three o'Clock in the Morning"

The records all look to be in about VG+ condition, or close, still nice and shiny, but with a few scuffs and scratches and dull spots. I played them all on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were no skips or jumps, and mostly just typical light background noise, as one would expect on recordings of this age, with some occasional pops or clicks or short passages of ticking or swishing. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. Please check the pictures for any label damage, including stickers or inscriptions.
