VINYL - EXCELLENT, LOVELY CLEAN AND SHINY VINYL HAS HAD ONLY VERY MINIMAL PLAY. TEST PLAYED AND PLAYS THROUGH BOTH SIDES WITHOUT SKIPS JUMPS OR REPEATS WITH SUPERB SOUND QUALITY.

JOHN O'HARA HAD BEEN VOCALIST FOR O'HARAS PLAYBOYS UNTIL THE BAND BROKE UP CIRCA 1970 - '71. LIKE THE BEATLES O'HARAS PLAYBOYS HAD BEEN REGULARS ON THE HAMBURG SCENE IN THE EARLY 1960's BUT ALTHOUGH THEY WERE HIGHLY REGARDED MAINSTREAM SUCCESS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM SOMEHOW ELUDED THEM. AFTER THE BANDS BREAK UP JOHN SET OUT AS A SOLO ARTIST RELEASING HAND ME DOWN MAN FOR SPARK IN 1972 AND STARSKY AND HUTCH ON PRESIDENT IN 1977. ON OFFER HERE IS A 1972 ADVANCE PROMOTIONAL COPY OF "PROUD TO BE THE MAN I AM / RASTUS REVEL" WHICH WAS PROBABLY NOT RELEASED COMMERCIALLY SO THE ONLY COPIES WILL BE THOSE PRESSED FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSE WHICH WILL BE VERY FEW IN NUMBER.LOVELY CLEAN COPY AT 45 YEARS OLD WHICH WOULD BE HARD TO BETTER.

Records are graded by Rare Record Collectors Book grading system. I also grade when item is in between grades i.e. EX+ if i feel item is better than an excellent grading but not quite near mint. I try to give as good and accurate description of items as possible regarding any marks or audible faults. Mint:- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface noise or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items (lyric sheet etc) are in perfect condition. Records sealed or unplayed will be mint. Excellent:- Shows some signs of having been played but very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and /or creasing. Very good:- Has been played many times but retains good sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear to the sleeve and extra items,without any major defects. Good:- The record has been played often and sound quality has deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches.the cover and inserts suffer from folding,heavy scuffing to edges ,spine splits and discolouration. Any records that are not to the standards listed above will only be regarded as collection fillers and listed as such. ADDITIONAL ALBUMS WILL BE APPROX 50% FOR EACH ALBUM(NO MORE) I DO NOT LOOK TO MAKE PROFIT FROM POSTAGE AND PACKAGING. DOUBLE ALBUMS WILL BE PRICED ACCORDINGLY.
