Description
JOHN TAVENER THE WHALE: APPLE SAPCOR 15
Recorded at the Church of St. John, Islington, in 1970. Vinyl is in mint condition with no spindle marks, very quiet playing surface, and glossy to look at.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. There are a few 1cm creases on the spine but these are barely noticeable.

I have looked around to try and find the best deals on shipping, and I can offer some very cheap shipping rates as I have sourced a very cheap European road-based service that will transport up to 30kg (about 100LPs) for one low price, and a similar service for the UK. Please see the table below.
Here are the rates if you only want a few records. Please note I combine shipping costs wherever possible (all prices in GBP):

NOT EVERY EUROPEAN OR E.U. COUNTRY IS INCLUDED IN EITHER EUROPE 1 OR EUROPE 2!!
Europe 1 definitely includes France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain.
Europe 2 definitely includes Hungary and Austria.
Some other countries are not included. For example, to Norway the cheap road-based service is not available. If in doubt please ask before bidding, and I will get back to you with a quote.
PLEASE NOTE: NO PACKAGE WORTH OVER £50 WILL BE SENT BY SURFACE MAIL! I can't insure it, and if it gets lost or damaged I have to refund the full amount. Sorry!
Methods of Payment
I accept paypal, cheque drawn on UK bank, and cash on delivery. Winning bidders are welcome to visit me at home (Hackney, in East London). I have a huge assortment of LPs for sale.
Guide to grading:
Mint: as new – might even be unplayed. Without blemish of any kind – no sounding or non-sounding marks, quiet surface, no groove damage, sleeve will be immaculate with sharp edges, and without creasing, writing, or difficult-to-remove stickers. I use this grading only rarely!
Near mint: virtually as new – at worst one or two small, very light non-sounding marks, or a few spindle marks. Definitely no audible marks – aurally, the LP should be superb with no groove damage and a quiet playing surface. It is possible the sleeve may have a few very tiny creases on the spine, or slight ‘browning’ – for details see individual listings.
Excellent: There may be some very light background surface noise, or a few surface marks. Again, there should be no audible marks unless specified in the listing. The sleeve may have very light creasing, or slight discolouration, but still be overall in very nice condition.
Very good: this LP will have audible imperfections such as scattered ticks, or an audible mark or marks. There are also likely to be visual imperfections such as light scuffs, or slight damage to the sleeve – e.g. break-through on the spine, or perhaps damage to the laminated surface of the sleeve. Again, please see individual listings for details.
Please note: The use of a plus (+) or minus (-) sign, e.g. "ex+" or "vg-", means slightly better or worse than the indicated grade.
On 25-Apr-08 at 15:56:39 BST, seller added the following information:
Dear potential bidder, I have noticed that in the second photograph, there is some dust visible on the surface of the LP itself, which COULD be mistaken for marks on the vinyl, particularly on the run-out grooves - rest assured it is DEFINITELY only dust, and this LP is in superb mint condition, as stated in the description! Check my feeback and bid with confidence! Best wishes, Steve
