Description

"Archery" by John Zorn is an ambitious musical endeavor involving combinations of solos, duos and trios, as well as larger group improvisations for up to twelve players, featuring Polly Bradfield on violin; Eugene Chadbourne, guitars and dobro; David Moss, percussion; Mark Kramer, Wayne Horvitz and Anthony Coleman on keyboards; Tom Cora, cello; Bill Laswell, electric bass; George Lewis, trombone; Robert Dick, flutes; Bill Horvitz, electric guitar; and John Zorn, alto + soprano saxophones and Bb clarinet. Recorded at OAO Studio, September 12 + 13, 1981, by Martin Bisi and Michael Lytle, in a limited edition of 1000 copies on Parachute 17/18. These vinyl records are beautifully illustrated with a four-page insert depicting the story of Archery as conceived by John Zorn. The box is in excellent shape; plus inserts and vinyl records all in a mint and unplayed condition.
