JOHN ZORN - NAKED CITY Elektra Nonesuch (cat # 979238) Original 1990 DMM Pressing
This is a very nice copy of the 1st LP from John Zorn's visionary band Naked City released in 1990 on Elektra Nonesuch (cat # 979238). This record opened the door for many musicians with it's post-everything scored music performed by an all-star line-up of Bill Frisell, Joey Baron, Fred Frith, Wayne Horovitz plus Yamatsuka Eye (when he was available). This is an LP that you don't see often because it mostly sold on CD and cassette. The cover is in VG+ condition - it is structurally fine but suffers from a spot of price sticker residue on the front, some light edge wear (the most noticeable is along the opening), some very light corner wear and the start of visible ring wear on the front. The vinyl is an excellent DMM pressing - shiny and flawless with no marks, scratches or scuffs. The labels have no spindle wear but the a-side has a spot of price sticker residue. Although the packaging isn't mint, the vinyl is rare and as beautiful as you would want. Please have a look at the photos!
