RARITY:- This is Johnny Cash's first UK LP ever - and is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find as a 1st Pressing! These do turn up occasionally - but almost EVERY time you click on one - you'll find it is almost ALWAYS a 1960s re-pressing! For information ONLY the 1959 UK 1st Pressings had 'Half-Moon' flipbacks, from 1960 to 1963 'straight' flipbacks were used, and after 1963 NO flipbacks were used! So finding a 1959 UK 1st Pressing is almost IMPOSSIBLE - as barely ANY were ever made! And even when you do see a 1st Pressing - because the covers were so thin, they are nearly always TRASHED! BUT THIS ONE HAS NO COVER DAMAGE AT ALL, IS A 100% GENIUNE 'DAY OF RELEASE' UK 1959 MONO 1ST PRESSING - AND IS VERY VERY RARE INDEED!

RECORD GRADING:- The record is very VERY strictly graded at VG++++ if not better (Graded directly under a 150 watt bulb!) and is VERY bright & shiny looking indeed! And most I am certain would grade even higher still! It is in BRILLIANT condition - with NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light! The record plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, the odd brief surface sound, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! A very VERY nice record and very VERY strictly graded indeed!
