Description
You are bidding on an original "JOHNNY CASH WITH HIS HOT AND BLUE GUITAR!" by "JOHNNY CASH" on SUN LP-1220 released in 1957.
This was Johnny's first album and includes four of his singles released in 1955 and 1956 - "Cry,Cry,Cry", "Folsom Prison Blues", "So Doggone Lonesome" and "I Walk The Line". Apparently the other eight were made for this album. I bought the album new in a record store in 1960. I've always taken pretty good care of my records, even as a teenager.
Johnny Cash was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best selling musicians, having sold over 90 million records worldwide. He was born Kingsland, Arkansas in 1932 and died in Nashville in 2003. One of SUN's best artists!
Condition: No splits on the jacket, original white sleeve, rubbing on both jacket sides. I would grade the record VG++
I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
