Description

JOHNNY COPELAND
A: Rock And Roll Lily
B: It Don't Bother You
[MERCURY, B 45 767, SWEDEN]

IMPOSSIBLY RARE and widely unknown to exist original Sweden(!) release of this 45 from 1958. "Rock And Roll Lily" is a STORMING uptempo rockabilly / r&b dancer that always packs the dancefloor. Have a listen below! Great proto-deep soul ballad on the flipside. This was Johnny Copeland's debut 45 and the fact that it got a swedish release is just bizarre. It was NOT released with a picture sleeve.

Vinyl condition: EX- (very light scratches, plays SUPERB, listen!)

SOUNDCLIP:

Double-click on the "play" button above to listen to SOUND CLIPS of both sides! If the player above doesn't work, click HERE to listen to the MP3.
