JOHNNY GRIFFIN Foot Patting MODAL JAZZ UK Youngblood LP MINT
This is a beautiful copy of Johnny Griffin's "Foot Patting" album on the ORIGINAL Young Blood label.
It was released on the UK Youngblood label (Cat. No. SSYB 11) in 1970.
It is now very hard to find, especially in such stunning condition.
The outer sleeve is NEAR MINT. It is very glossy with a strong laminate. There is an original sale sticker (35p!) in top right hand corner.
Record label is in MINT condition with no writing or stickers. There is a spindle mark but only on one side.
Record vinyl looks to be MINT and may have only been played
once.
How we grade the condition of our records:
We carefully grade our vinyl to ensure your satisfaction. Most evaluation has to be done visually, as there isn't time to listen to everything, though sometimes it is necessary to double check by playing the item and this is mentioned when done.
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
NEAR MINT (M-): The record is as above with the merest slight imperfection to an otherwise Mint item. This might be something such as the label having light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is little or no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very slight wear.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
