Description
Cover VG, Vinyl VG+.
All my records have been cleaned before test playing on a turntable so are both audibly and visually graded in line with Record Collector Grading System.
The Original Sound Track to the 1967 thriller ‘Robbery’ starring Stanley Baker (‘Hell Drivers’, ‘Zulu’) and directed by Peter Yates (‘Bullitt’). Music composed by Johnny Keating (‘Hotel’, ‘Z Cars’), played by his orchestra and featuring Jackie Lee (who sang on ‘White Horses’ & ‘Rupert the Bear’).
Cover is very good for its age, glossy and clean, and with no rips or tears but perhaps very slightly sun faded. Shop sticker on rear. Original Decca inner sleeve also in very good condition.
Vinyl is still lustrous and bright, and displays very little use although there are faint crackles audible throughout both sides during the quieter passages. No scratches or pops.
This is the UK 1st pressing in Mono from 1967 on the Decca label, LK 4892.
About Grading:
In the UK, the accepted record grading system is the Record Collector magazine guide. This is the guide I use when selling vinyl and is reproduced below. I do not sell anything graded below Very Good. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.
?MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.?
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
